Dowsed in You

It's chilly to the bone
Icicles hanging from my mouth
The blue and black ice fall around me
Will you watch?

Watch me scream as you enter my dream
A fire inside my brain
My internal soul gasps for air
I am melting iron
my strength taking a different form
Leave me to the darkness
There must be light near

You left creating the same monster
Fear oh the demon
Follows me to my grave
You walk alone

The suffering
Turns me to greatness
I am launched by the eagle
Followed by the lion
Who dare enter this heart of mine
It bares images of strength
Sewn onto my thick skin
I shed your demons
Freedom
I almost forgot you
Hope
The essence of life

Carry me to my future destination
Open fingers and eyes
Fire from the depths
I emerge onto the field
Will you watch?
Or will you dig the dirt to your own grave

Love it isn't easy
The hardest four letter word
RED. RED. RED
Words never said
Like parasites leaching
Chorus' pounding against my brain
Will I explode?

Watch the colors turn purple
Shades of knives
Lust abounds
Beat you to the curb
I'll leave you there again
Take my hand, I fly
fly, or die.

Love, will you watch me?

Viles

When I start to slip
I brush my pink rosy cheeks
Up against something warm
Which used to be a heart
But is now this mug of hot coffee

Fortunately our minds are forgetful
And the world does not stop
...
